More on the AEN-MAR....

Qualifications: Stations interested in using their radios and licenses for the benefit of others are welcome to participate. All experience levels from "zero to hero" have a place here.

Frequencies: The Mt. Ord and Shaw Butte linked repeaters on 146.92 (- offset) and 147.24 (+), 162.2 Hz tone for both.

Affiliation: The Arizona Emergency Net - Maricopa is an activity, not a separate organization. There is no membership roster, no bylaws, and no dues. Join the organization of your choice (or none, if that suits you), and come participate on this net to exercise your equipment and hone your skills. Lots of organizations (ARES, Skywarn, SATURN, RACES, Red Cross, and others) send their people to us because this net does not recruit, nor does it demand a commitment. Those who show up benefit by participating, and are encouraged to apply their learnings anywhere they want.
